Colorado School Of Mines

Here are some photos of Hunter's school and the town. It is located in Golden, Co, the foothills of the Rockies. It is a small campus, about 3 blocks wide and 6 blocks long. It is absolutely gorgeous! The weather is fabulous and Hunter is loving it! These photos were taken when we went out to visit in March. Chandler took some new ones in August that I'll post.

Chandler!!

Chandler helped Hunter celebrate his 18th birthday!

Chandler celebrated his 16th birthday with his sister, Brandy and her daughter EMMA in Huntsville, AL!

Touchdown Club Honoree

Hunter was selected as one of the top 25 Academic Athletes in the Greater Houston Area by the Houston Touchdown Club. 65 High school Head Football coaches were asked to submit their top academic atheletes. Hunter was honored at a luncheon where he received scholarship dollars to a college of his choice. Chandler took the day off from school to help honor Hunter at the luncheon. Coach Jim Gumm is the man who started Hunter playing football. He saw potential in Hunter in the 7th grade and encouraged him to not only wrestle, but to take up football also. The rest, as they say, is history. Coach Gumm has been an avid supporter and fan of Hunter and wanted to help celebrate his selection.
